Joe was a tremendous nutrition coach - he designed a diet that addressed my two concerns - tendon issues and fat loss. He evolved his tactics over the course of our engagement to match what we learned along the way and made a better impact than I expected. Joe is really passionate about helping people and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their health in any way.
Joe is a master of his craft and is great at putting together a program set specifically for you. there are many ways to get back into shape adjust eating habits, etc, and Joe is great at narrowing down a successful process for each of his clients. He is a very genuine person and coach. I would recommend him to anyone who desires a nutrition coach to help improve their diet, lose weight, or train for specific goals or fitness challenges.
My wife and I completing the nutrition coach program with Joe. It has been an excellent journey. I've learned so much about nutrition and with just a few minor changes, I'm delighted to say I've dropped 12 lbs. and because of Joe's nutrition coaching, I'm happy to say I'm not done yet! I’ve had the opportunity to work with Joe for the past two years and can honestly say his ability to create individualized fitness and nutrition programs are hands down what makes him a great nutrition coach. Cookie-cutter programming simply does not exist. Instead, he works one-on-one with you to learn more about your goals (or as in my case…help create them) and builds a plan that not only fits into your schedule but ensures that with dedication you’ll meet those goals and continue to see success.
My experience with Insight Nutrition has been amazing! I have learned so much from Joe about making goals, reaching goals, and changing goals to reach what I desire for myself. What I enjoyed the most was the accountability and attention I received from Joe. He made me feel like I was his only client and that I can be 100% honest with him about my accomplishments and struggles without judgement or feeling of failure..
I've never done a nutrition program because I was worried about having to weigh food, count calories or macros, etc. This was literally changing/adding one or two things a week and taking pictures of my snacks and meals. I really liked the See How You Eat app. Looking at my daily food logs made me realize how little I was eating previously given what I was asking my body to do at the gym (and life in general).
Before starting nutrition coaching I struggled to really understand what to eat, how much to eat, and the areas that detracted from my fitness goals and how my perception of nutrition affected me mentally. Now I can say I know exactly what my body needs in order to perform at its best. I have been able to create life long habits that will help me not only with nutrition but mentally as well. I know my mental outlook on nutrition was very poor at the beginning as I struggled understand the true impact my thoughts about food had. It’s clear now that I will need to continue to work on this but I would have never understood the impact those habits have if we had not talked about it.
So glad that I reached out to Joe for nutrition and exercise advice! I am definitely in the best shape of my life. Just wish I would have started a lot sooner, but better late than never I guess . I’ve been a part of Joe’s fitness challenges and other programs, learning new exercise techniques that I can accomplish in my basement. Challenging myself to workouts outside of my comfort zone has been huge. In the past, I would never include a leg or HIIT day. I would just use the same ol weekly upper body routine that I pulled from the internet, and started to plateau. Now, I am constantly seeing progress in the way I look and feel. Joe’s advice in regards to consistency is something that really stuck with me. You have to stick with your healthy foods and exercise on a regular basis. That’s key!

Joe's works outs, his fitness knowledge, his nutrition knowledge are top notch. I did a fitness challenge at a local Crossfit gym here in town and Joe's fitness challenge was hands down superior. He took more time to help me than any other personal trainer i've ever used. Joe is the best. I highly recommend reaching out to Joe if you feel stuck. Joe is great to work with, very supportive, and has so much great knowledge and advice! He helped me gain confidence, look better, and feel amazing. I was unsure about hiring a nutrition/fitness coach and honestly didn't think it would work. My only regret is that I wish I would have hired him sooner instead of wasting time on all my failed efforts.
